Compassionate Science

Technology is great, the advances we have today are unreal, but sometimes if it is not used correctly very severe problems can happen. Although, it might seem way ahead of our time, technology is one day going to rule the world. Whether it is better or not, thats what we decide. The people running these machines and creating new ways of doings things so that we are ahead at all times. That's not something that a piece of metal can decide that's our job. If in the near future i manufacture a very important robot who would help carry water and filter it for the people all over the world drinking dirty water, catching bacteria and deadly viruses. I wouldn't give this remarkable machine to those who are wealthy and have will. I would invest in trying to give every single town or family a well running robot that can carry a mass supply of water in a container and can deliver it to each home so that many children and women won't go out into the desert and walk 3 miles at a time to go get water, that's not even sanitary to survive. This Saturday i learned a lot more about water and how some people are not very fortunate like we are to have a water system in out neighborhood. It impacted me in a way to want to fix this problem, therefore i joined the Thirst Project, which we will be meeting up every time TAC has charity work and just think of new ideas, little or small, to help these people in third world countries that really need our help. Water is the problem, and the solution.

The Future

There are many corny ways to phrase what i'm about to say but it's something we hear very often. Not to worry about the future, but i say that baloney! Of course you have to worry about the future. Not only for who you are becoming but for the people around you. In my future I can imagine aliens, I believe that they're making a comeback this century. Even if it sounds a little too weird or too much like science fiction. Its Possible! How can people be so selfish, so naive? Space is HUGE we are nothing but a fraction of a spec of dust compared to the vastness of Space. I mean small, smaller than you can ever imagine. Just because we cant go to visit all the places in space now. Does not mean there are not other living organisms in a far far away galaxy. Maybe it's even called the Snickers Galaxy, or the Twix, or 3  Musketeers! If people do not start to  acknowledge or become far more open minded to aliens , the future will not be a place where I would like to be a part of. Science is advancing day by day, the least we can do is look far more into aliens. Maybe they won't come attack our civilization, or become mass murders, but i guess we'll never know until it happens. The future that i would like to imagine would include education and peace and communication, that we as human beings tend to lack.

The Time I Laughed Really Really Hard

Mothers are supposed to be the back bone of your life. They protect you and love you like you wouldn't imagine. They are supposed to make it they're goal and achievement in life to make you happy beyond measure. Well, maybe not my mom or my that means my family. Don't get me wrong my mom loves us unconditionally but once you have 6 kids by the third you're exhausted. My mom had to find hobbies she did what any 45 year old does with older kids, waste my fathers money on house paintings, or whatever was on the Home Interior catalog she feels the need to buy things we don't need. My family was having just a normal evening 8pm my sisters settling down me reading, and my little brother doing..whatever it is he does at 8pm. My second oldest sister Faby and Stephanie got into an argument over food. My sister Faby was playing around and it escalated and stephanie was tired so she pretended to run towards her. Faby did not see the pillow in the middle of the wooden floor and ran and crashed in so hard to my back windows. My mom in the kitchen rushed to the living room to see what happened and the fist thing that came out of her mouth was her prized possession her newest arrival  her huge mirror made of glass. My sister cracked her back from the impact and all you hear is my mom going on and on yelling to the top of her lungs how lucky my sister was that she didnt crash into the mirror. My sister had to wear a neck brace for a month and a half  but i will never forget how fast my mom got into the room to yell at my sister for ALMOST  killing her mirror.

My Review of Modern Times

Modern Times is an incredible film with an outstanding perspective all around. Charlie Chaplin does an impeccable job metaphorically explaining his situation as well as the men working. Although it is a silent film, it has sound but the reason i believe it was made silent was for the importance of the actions to be known. Sometimes when you watch a movie you seem to get distracted or look around because you know that you can always visualize the movie with the words. You cannot do that when there is no sound coming from the characters. Although Charlie had a lot of deep meaning and seriousness towards the making of this film. It was a very funny and easy to catch on.
